Invisible orthodontics
We straighten the teeth of children, teenagers and adults with fixed and removable appliances and, above all, with Invisalign invisible orthodontics.

Orthodontics straightens teeth and corrects malocclusions in children, teenagers and adults. In addition to fixed and removable appliances, we offer Invisalign invisible orthodontics: clear, removable aligners. With the ClinCheck® software, we can simulate the final result before treatment even begins.
What is orthodontics?
Orthodontics corrects the position of the teeth and the relationship between the dental arches — in other words, malocclusion. Crowded or crooked teeth, excessive gaps, an open bite or a deep bite are not just an aesthetic matter: they affect chewing, oral hygiene and the health of the gums and jaw joint. Straightening the teeth also makes them easier to clean and to keep healthy over time.
At what age, and who is a candidate
Orthodontics has no age limit. In children, a first visit around age 6–7 makes it possible to catch growth problems early and to take advantage of bone development (interceptive orthodontics). The teenage years are the classic time for braces. Adults can be treated at any age, provided their teeth and gums are healthy: today, thanks to clear aligners, treatment is much more discreet.
Invisalign invisible orthodontics
Invisalign is a series of custom-made clear aligners, worn about 22 hours a day and changed every one to two weeks. They are practically invisible and can be removed for meals and oral hygiene, which makes them comfortable and easy to clean. With the ClinCheck® software we show you, right from the start, a simulation of how your teeth will move and of the final result.
Invisible orthodontics is overseen by Dr. Cecilia Di Luzio, an orthodontist who specializes in Invisalign.
Fixed and removable appliances
When indicated, we offer fixed appliances (metal or aesthetic brackets) or removable and functional appliances, choosing the most suitable solution for each case. In some more complex situations, fixed braces remain the most effective choice.
How the treatment works
It starts with an orthodontic visit including a clinical assessment, photographs and, when needed, X-rays and digital impressions. We define the treatment plan together and, during treatment, schedule regular checkups to follow your progress. At the end, a retention phase is almost always planned — a nighttime retainer or a thin fixed wire — to stabilize the result achieved.
Timelines and commitment required
The duration varies with the complexity of the case: generally from a few months to about two years. The result depends a great deal on the patient's cooperation: with Invisalign it is essential to wear the aligners for the number of hours indicated. Good oral hygiene throughout treatment protects teeth and gums.
When careful assessment is needed
Before starting, we treat any cavities or gum problems. In cases with major skeletal imbalances a combined approach may be needed, in rare cases even a surgical one. That is exactly what the initial assessment is for: choosing the right, realistic path for you.

Frequently asked questions
At what age should a child first see an orthodontist?
A first visit around age 6–7 is useful to catch growth problems early, even though the actual braces often come later.
Does Invisalign work as well as fixed braces?
In most cases, yes: clear aligners treat many malocclusions effectively. In some complex cases, however, fixed braces remain the better solution. We assess this during the visit.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Generally from a few months to about two years, depending on the complexity of the case and the patient's cooperation.
Can people see the aligners when I talk?
They are clear and very discreet: in everyday life they are almost invisible. You take them out to eat and to brush your teeth.
Can adults have orthodontic treatment?
Yes, at any age, provided teeth and gums are healthy. Today many adults choose invisible orthodontics precisely because it is so discreet.
